1. Information We Collect

Account Data: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you use Apple Sign In, we receive your Apple ID identifier.

Health & Skin Data: Products you track, reactions you log (severity, symptoms, affected areas, photos), skin type, known allergens, and optionally menstrual cycle data for hormonal correlation.

Web Tool Usage: When you use our free web tools (Ingredient Checker, Product Compare), we do not require an account. Ingredient lists you analyze are processed in real-time and not stored.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide ingredient analysis and personal trigger correlation
• To generate PDF reports for your dermatologist visits
• To improve our ingredient database and analysis algorithms
• We do NOT sell your data to third parties
• We do NOT share your health data with advertisers

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. JWT tokens are used for authentication with short expiration periods.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. When you delete your account, all your data (products, reactions, logs, correlations) is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.

5. Third-Party Services

• Open Beauty Facts: Product barcode lookups (public API, no personal data shared)
• OpenWeatherMap: Weather data for reaction context (only coordinates, no personal data)
• Apple StoreKit: Subscription management (handled by Apple)

6. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies only. We use Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics. You can opt out of analytics by using a browser extension.
